The 35 greatest moments in Chicago music history will be announced here and in the Chicago Reader on July 23.
In the meantime, read what our ambassadors have to say about their favorite Chicago music moments.
Moments are:
- Times when a person or people from Chicago influenced ears and minds the world over with a music-related activity
The Fine Print:
- Voting is open May 18 - June 19, 2020.
- Voting is non-binding but is a primary input for determining the top 35 Chicago music moments.
- A&BC reserves the right to determine which moments will be added to the poll and which moments are selected for the top 35
- Moments associated with historically marginalized communities will be given positive, weighted consideration for inclusion in the poll and in the top 35 moments
